Test with wordpress 5.0 beta failed

Hi

I just tested a couple of my websites with wordpress 5.0 Beta 2 and the site-origin plugin. I get a white screen when I want to edit or create new pages or posts.
I’ve disabled every plugin except the SO-plugin and it doesn’t work… When I disable the SO-plugin and enable all my other plugins, my site works, except my pages show shortcodes of the SO-plugin. So it’s safe to say that the SO-plugin is causing the problem.

There is an open issue with the Widgets Bundle and PHP 5.x.x. Which PHP version are you running? You can check using: https://wordpress.org/plugins/server-ip-memory-usage/. Thanks.

Hi

I’m running my website locally for testing with XAMP version 7.2.7, so PHP 7.2.7.

I’ve tried to install the plugin (server ip memory usage), but it doesn’t show the memory usage in the footer.
I’ve already tried adding define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); to my wp-config.php but it isn’t working.

Really sorry about this but it appears there’s a general issue with SiteOrigin Page Builder and WordPress 5.0 at the moment. This will be fixed shortly.

Hi Wim,

No problem. WordPress 5.0 is a massive update but I can assure you, by the time WordPress 5.0 is released, all of our products will be compatible.
