Support » Fixing WordPress » Test – in title bar

  • For some strange reason, the word “test” keeps appearing in the title bar of the site at taraeames.com. It just started when we upgraded to 3.3.1.

I have deleted and reinstalled, changed themes, searched for it with a moderately-toothed comb in the code and cannot find a reason for it to render “test” instead of the title.

    Help??!!??

What site name is entered in Settings -> General?

    Site Title: Tara Eames
    Tagline: Words better left unsaid
Wordpress address (where the files are)
    Site URL: taraeames.com

You seem to have resolved this now. Yes?

No, it’s still there, in Firefox AND Chrome >.<

And yes, I’ve cleared cache etc etc etc.

Also: This is a completely new barebones install. I’m not adding plugins or customizing the theme until this is resolved.

Start by getting rid of the domain masking frame.

Esmi, thanks for your help. She’s back up and running, and I have something else to add to my “did you check____?” list.
