Support » Plugin: SendPress Newsletters » Test email always works, sending to my test list never does

  • Resolved Jackson Pemberton

I have spoken with GoDaddy about this issue, they assure me they are not blocking any outgoing emails.

Note that this WordPress install is in a directory one level above the root of which is hosted by Joomla!

I have two lists “Testers” and “AllMemberList” of 2 subscribers and 26 subscribers respectively. I have not tried sending to the larger list. On the Settings page, when I click “Send Test!” it always works. On the Emails tab page I have three emails created, each one is a couple short paragraphs and a photo. I have tried sending all three of these at one time or another. None of them are delivered. The Queue tab shows the “(2)” as it should which changes to “(0)” as it should. No emails arrive at the two addresses in the Tester list. One of the email addresses in the Testers list is the same as that used by the “Send Test!” button. I have not received any error messages from any source.

  • Don’t actually know what fixed this. I deactivated all plugins and tested and it worked, then re-activated groups of plugins until I had reactivated them all and it still works.

Must have been something corrupted that got fixed by deactivation and reactivation. Hmmmm.
