Support » Plugin: Newsletter » Test & Diagnostics ok, Newsletter not sending out.

I`m using version 3.5.3…
Tests & Diagnostic emails all sending.
Disabled blog cache temporarily too.
Added a cron job to make sure all is well.
Used email diagnostic on email end & all is well.
I’m with HostGator…I have my emails set to 470 an hour, under their 500 limit.
Newsletter says it’s “Sent”, but in stats, nothing is sent. There are no sent emails in my email account either.
On a side note, the subscription follow up email system via Newsletter is working though, as I have received some emails sent back – bounced in my error email.
I don’t know what else to do…been working on it for 3 days. Need to send out the newsletter. Please assist.
Thank you so much in advance, Stefano.

A blog on hostgator (as on every other provider) does not show email sent by the blog in your account. They are two different services (even if you can configure Newsletter to use your account SMTP).
About stats, they are collected only when users open or read emails.

Same problem here.
It was working since last month. I’ve used the plugin since a year and now it shows “Sent” in the stats but none of my subscriber, nor myself (I’ve suscribed to all of my newsletter) works.
Last week, I’ve receive an info about Canada’s changing is policy about mailing list and spam. Could it be linked?
It occurs to happen since I’ve upgraded to the last version of WP and Newsletter.
Any clue Stefano?
Here’s what I found in the log :
Could not instantiate mail function
What does it means?
The provider has serious problems on mailing system ask the to check why the mail function cannot be used.
