# Test Data Install

 * I’m following the instructions okay but now I need to download and install the
   test data – which is suppost to be here – [http://svn.automattic.com/wpcom-themes/test-data.2010-08-02.xml](http://svn.automattic.com/wpcom-themes/test-data.2010-08-02.xml)–
   but there is no download.
 * Any ideas?

 * Hi,
 * I did that, saved it to my desktop as testdata.xml , then went tools/import/wordpress
   but it won’t give me the option of uploading it.
 * It defaults to a plugin called FYI. The only other option it gives is to go to
   the Plugin Homepage.

 * When you click “WordPress” at Tools/Importer, you must then click the orange “
   Install Now” button to install the WordPress importer plugin.

 * The importer USED to be built in, and I gather now it’s a plugin. Sorry about
   that. IIRc it was done to reduce size in the install, but some of us old hats
   forget 🙂
