# Test Bulk Importer

 * Hello,
 * I have this error:
    Your WordPress server configuration does not support background
   processing. The bulk importer will not work.
 *  Could not connect to the server for bulk background processing. The server returned
   a 503 response code.
 * Do you know how to fix it?
 * Thanks.

 * It’s something with your hosting setup or you are using PHP 5.6.
 * The latest version has a setting in the Storage Settings page where you can turn
   off background processing. I recommend you do that, then run the importer.
 * Note: If you do have background processing turned off, you must keep the importer
   page open as the page is managing the import process instead of the server.
