• This plugin is awful. I downloaded it for a site and for some reason it went onto another site sharing the same hosting. When I uinstalled and deleted it it did not leave cleanly and ended up messing up my site. Support non-existent.

Hi there. We definitely have no other reports of this happening, and are very interested in helping you resolve things.

I just checked and I don’t see any support tickets in our Priority queue, and also not seeing anything on the free support forums here. Can you clarify how you reached out for support? I’d definitely like to get that part handled.

Also, in order to delete all Give data upon uninstallation, you’ll need to indicate that you want to delete all data in the settings at Donations > Settings > Advanced. This is a setting common to ecommerce and other platforms to prevent inadvertently deleting donor or donation data upon uninstall.

Again, we’re more than happy to help out here.

I downloaded it for a site and for some reason it went onto another site sharing the same hosting.

With all due respect, this makes absolutely no sense unless you were sharing the same tables from the same database, and also the same files in wp-content. If that is that is the case, the problem is not GiveWP but how you configured your site.

It’s sad to read that you gave 1 star review to people that provided free software for a situation hard to believe unbelievable.
