Im working on a wordpress site using wp e-commerce etc. There is always a certain amount of live editing needed whilst using this plugin, I have never had a seamless transition from local to live server.
The site site has already been publicised and there is a newsletter signup form on /index.html. I’d like to be able to redirect all visitors except from certain ip addresses to index.html whilst I install wordpress in the root directory. Ideally only I would be able to see index.php and the wordpress installation.
Can someone tell me if this is possible, or suggest an effective alternative?
Thanks in advance,
