Temporary folder missing!

    Hi,
    [Newbie on wp as well as web world]

    Accidentally all files and folder are deleted from my hosting server. For wp installation in created /public_html folder and ftp the instillation wp media, installation was successful. But when I try to upload some files/images. Error is “Missing a temporary folder” .

    Please suggest.

    hi there – not sure I follow you, but everything got deleted and you reinstalled?

    If you have FTP access, see if you have an ‘uploads’ folder under ‘wp-content’

    There isn’t a folder named ‘temporary’ in the WordPress package that I’m aware of.

    It is crucial to figure out backups from your hosting company as well as a plugin like UpdraftPlus backup.

    If you can backup your theme files, database and uploads, you should be able to reinstall WP and restore your files.

    Hi,

    Check if there is a “uploads” folder under wp-content.

    If folder does not exist then create “uploads” folder and then create one more folder named “2014” under uploads . Create folder named “11” under 2014 folder .

    uploads/2014/11
