Temporarily hiding site from public?

Setting up a site for a University project and I don’t want the public to be able to view it until sometime in the Spring. I’ve seen it before with sites that are still being worked on that you’re brought to a page that doesn’t let you view it yet.

Is it still possible I can set that up or?..
