• Hello, everybody, l am witting this post about templatic themes because all the other posts have been closed and l could not ask something there.
l am a seo web developer from Greece and my site is [Site link removed]

The last week l have noticed the very nice themes of the company called Templatic. So l tried to buy them for a client of mine.
l send them three enquiries by using their contact form and nobody responded in order to become an affiliate.
Then l tried to buy the themes with my debit card and nothing happened.
After several attempts, l contact my bank Pireus Bank that is a Pan european bank.
They told me that the card failed due to the not online use of the transaction. That meant l was giving my card online to buy the club membership of 236 euros! and templatic was trying to charge my debit card manually!

This is very scary when you believe that this is an online company based on India or somewhere, where the monthly salary is 30 euros and they want 236 € for a club membership.

Until now, noboy cared about it, and noboy is answering from the templatic company.

l started to believe despite the beautiful and attractive themes they have that they are a bunch of crooks with no support, no billing information, no telephones.

    Who are these guys?

Please help me to find a good directory theme

  • We have no direct connection to commercial theme companies here. All I can suggest is that you take this up with the company in question.

Try browsing the themes in http://wordpress.org/themes/ The tag filter may help you narrow down your search to just the themes containing the features that you want. Any additional functionality that you need may be added via plugins.

    Hi

My name is Vedran, I work for Templatic and will try to clear the air here.

Templatic is a regular/legit company and what happened to you was a mix of weird coincidences. Affiliate questions submitted through the contact form were handled by a staff member who was sick at the time you posted them. I’m not sure, but I think you later posted a question inside the “Pre-purchase” department and got a reply (I remember someone from Greece with similar problems as you).

The price of our membership is in line with what our themes have to offer. Considering some developer licenses cost up to $199, I think $299 for all themes is not a bad price. Monthly salary in India isn’t €30, but even if it was, that has absolutely nothing to do with the company.

While it’s true we don’t provide phone support, it’s not like it’s impossible to reach us. If all else fails, you can always use Facebook and Twitter. Lastly, crooks don’t celebrate 6 year anniversaries.

    Kind regards
    Vedran
