templates are not showing up in Child

    I have a child theme working and I want to move the parent templates from twenty eleven into the child.

    I have read all the instructions, and setup another directory called Custom. I then copied the style.css file into it (from the one posted on support)

    the child theme is activated but none of the parent templates are there!

    Can anyone tell me what happened?

    Please see: Child Themes Codex if everything is done by this guide you should have your Child Theme up and running in no time 🙂

    If you have /custom/style.css only in your Child Theme that will not be enough, style.css will “import” CSS elements only, if you made customizations to your parent Theme, you would need to copy any files that you customized over to your Child Theme. And if you did not, move files you wish to change and do that from your Child Theme instead.
