# Template vs Framework. Need Advice

 * Hi, I’m an Illustrator and Graphic Designer looking for advice on the best way
   to build WP sites either by using a framework or VERY customizable template.
 * Right now I’m doing some research on the best tools to build WP websites on a
   reasonable schedule while keeping the balance between good professional looking
   websites, and development time. I’d also like to keep a certain degree of originality
   in my designs and if possible, avoid using a premium template only to change 
   colors or fonts. I want to be able to define layouts, menu position and even 
   Jquery effects, if that makes any sense.
 * Any advice on frameworks, methods, etc. will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
