Theme Check
Template Version Not Checked When Child Theme Activated (3 posts)

The plugin does not correctly report whether the “Template Version” tag exists in style.css when the child theme being checked is activated.

If you activate a different theme and then check the child theme again, the “Template Version” tag is correctly parsed and recognized.

"Template Version" isn't a standard theme tag anyway. Not sure why it's in Theme Check to begin with, since core isn't checking for it.

I was wondering about that myself. I can certainly ignore that warning when I run the check, but it is a bit confusing.
