# Template used for posts

   is the live site. All appears to be working well except for the actual blog page…
   Jaret News.
 * I’ve trawled the template pages of the codex and scoured these support pages 
   with no solution found.
 * I am trying to set up a page in Jaret News that I can post updates to with the
   rest of the site staying pretty much the same. I have set up templates for my
   static pages which work as I wish them to.
 * However what template do posts use? Nothing I do seems to make a blind bit of
   difference. I get the following strange look [](http://jarethouse.co.uk/jaret-news).
   I have tried to edit index.php, single, archive set up a separate posts.php page.
   All to no avail.
 * I think I’ve gone to far inside this and can’t see the wood for the proverbials…
   Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 * Index.php handles all posts, single.php handles when showing a full single post,
   and archive handles category level navigation between posts etc….
 * Or at least that’s my understanding thus far (still pretty new to WP myself)…
 * You’ll proberly need to use Post Categories…
