# Template tag help needed

 * hi, first of all id like to tell you that ive searched in codex, ect i even talked
   to podz he did his best but couldnt help me. i use kubrick and the template mx4_theme,
   i’d like to appear on main page news from a specific category and not from all
   categ. well, podz told me to send him my index.php from my theme and replace 
   with the following code > [http://paste.uni.cc/7048](http://paste.uni.cc/7048)
   but i still get errors, you think that you can help? thanks!

 * The simplest method is to return to your original template, and use this plugin:

 * To customize, locate the variable $sem_main_cat in the plugin file and change
   its value to the category slug for the category you want to restrict the home
   page to (for example, ‘transcripts’).

 * By “return to your original template” I mean you don’t need to use the template
   changes noted in the paste link above. The plugin is not theme-specific.
