[Resolved] Template Suddenly Looks Odd

  • My client’s web hosting company only allows an OLD version of WordPress. So old that I’m not sure which one it is. The template we installed looked great, but suddenly yesterday it looks all funky. There is an odd space between the header and the body of the template, and on the main page, the image has a white line through it. The footer has also disappeared. The URL is http://www.modernmarketingsupport.com/blog

Help is much appreciated. You guys and gals are awesome!

  • Ok, the crazy white line is gone and the footer is back, there was a missing </div> tag. However, the space between the header and the template is still there. Any thoughts?

look in your stylesheet for this
    #content_top_fixed
    set the margin-top to 0

I hadn’t looked at the theme issue yet, but… you’re at
WordPress 2.0.1. Oh dear. Does the host like being hacked?
    That really should be updated.

If nothing else, maybe to 2.0.11?

    That fixed it, thanks!

Yeah, her webhost doesn’t allow for newer versions. I wish it could be upgraded, but it’s a battle…

    Thanks for your help!
