    Hi,

Just installed this theme, thank you for it. When adding/editing page there are only two choices in the Template drop-down: Default and Cake.

Shouldn’t there be more since there are five layouts in the layouts folder for the theme? I’m a WP Newbie so I apologize if this is a stupid question. I’d like to switch between content-sidebar and the other layouts when needed.

    Thanks!

    Dave

You could set the theme laytout under theme setting, not under page.

The page template in dropdown list and the theme layouts are differnt things. You could play around with it to see how it works.

I don’t see where in the theme settings that the layout can be set. There are three choices for color scheme but nothing else.

Hmm, “Cake” should be labeled “No Sidebar”, I have no idea why that template name is so… wrong. 🙂

The “layouts” folder does not offer multiple layout configurations — it’s just sample CSS. Patchwork only has a two-column, right-sidebar layout. You could use custom CSS to change that if you wanted.
