# Template Responsive – site title

 * Hi,
 * I have set the site title In “general settings”. This text shows as the title
   of the window, which I want, but it also shows at the top of the screen in big
   letters, serving as a link to my homepage. It is this link/text that I wish to
   get rid of without affecting the window title.
 * Your help appreciated.

 * In header.php find bloginfo(‘name’); after <span class=”site-name”> and replace
   it with the_title();

 * Tried following the above instruction and I notice no change. I hope I didn’t
   mess anything up.
