Template formatting is not working

Ever since the update to WordPress 4.6.1, I have notice that the Text formatting in the templates is not working. I have the Text color in the Page area set to white, in the Context Header, Content, and Content Footer areas set to grey. The font in the Page and Content Footer areas used to be a bit smaller.
Now, all the font is black and the font in the Page and Content Footer areas is larger. It appears correctly in the preview before you send it, but it appears incorrectly when you send a test email and when actual emails are sent.
I have also noticed a huge empty space at the bottom the emails that are sent. It is about 3-4 times as long as the screen shot included below.
