• Hey everyone.

After updating to Gutenberg version 13.4.0 today, I’ve noticed that the Template selector options are missing in the backend. I’m not using Full Site Editing, this is in a ‘legacy’ theme.

The template files are still located in the FTP but they do not show up in the Gutenberg builder. I’ve compared it with another site of mine running Gutenberg 13.3 – here everything still works fine. Both sites are running WordPress 6.0.

For the time being I’ve rolled back to 13.3.
I’m hoping for a fix for this issue before updating the plugin again.

  • Same here if there is something we can do to still use the Gutenberg plugin AND legacy template files…

    Hi @oxholm,

After updating to Gutenberg version 13.4.0 today, I’ve noticed that the Template selector options are missing in the backend. I’m not using Full Site Editing, this is in a ‘legacy’ theme.

The more information you can share about the issue the better it is for me to assist you in the best way I can. I want to see if I can replicate the issue on my end as well:

    – What is the name of the theme you are using on your site?
    – Just to confirm, the issue doesn’t persist when you revert back to version 13.3?
    – Can you please take screenshots of the templates that are missing on the backend. You could take a screenshot, upload it to a site like https://snipboard.io/ and send me the link.

@davouid if you can also share the same information that would every helpful 🙂
