    I made changes to the div content in my css style sheet but I only that change on the index.php page, not the others. All I am looking for is the background color to be there but it has no color. Odd. Suggestions?

  • Hi

    Your home page is laid out differently than your other pages – that is why.

    try this

    in your stylesheet, in this section on line 24

    div#content {
      background-color: #FFFFFF;
      margin: -10px 0 0 496px;
      width: 455px;
    }

    add the line
    float: right;

    just after that section ends add this line
    .home div#content { float: none; }

    The first added line should make the background on the other pages white. However it breaks the display of the home page.

    The second line adjusts the homepage CSS to display correctly.

    I obviously do not know my ‘floats’ well since this is the second post I made where adding floats was the answer. I shall take this as a sign to read up on them. Thank you.
