# template installation.

 * I have downloaded a couple templates from the alex king site and am looking to
   upload them to my website. but, i don’t know where to put them. and what do i
   take out from the original files that i have uploaded to my site?
    i have looked
   around for an installation guide for these templates but to no avail. Could some
   one please help me out?

 * Ok. Just to get the ball rolling the earlier you can post a url here, the better
   the support you will get. As to the q; the Alex King style sheets are compatible
   with the default index.php. So: Just upload the style sheet to the root directory
   and rename as wp-layout.css.

 * The alternative is to use Alex King’s styleswitcher. That one has a seperate 
   folder for the stylesheets.

 * Thanks Alot. for some reason, I missed out on the link for the wiki wordpress
   org. So, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
    I have got my site’s template
   up. I just need to figure out the rest.

 * Heck: it’s at the template stage things can go wrong. Do not be embarrassed (
   if you do need any help – that is), we do mind seeing it. You can do the Grand
   Opening on Strut your Stuff -when you are ready.
