 * Hi everyone,
 * I’ve done extensive modification to the theme that I use on my wordpress blog
   on my server and I went to add a link and mysteriously the bottom half of where
   I pasted the new code is gone. Is there a way to get back in history the old
   code or am I SOL? Please advise asap!
 * -Seth

 * I assume you have a backup copy of your theme files – everybody should have!
   Never modify anything before making a backup copy.
    Making “extensive modifications”
   online… I find it a very bad idea, even if the tools are there for that. Always
   keep a “virgin copy” of your **working** theme so you can revert back if anything
   goes wrong.
 * No, if you modified your theme and don’t have a backup copy, you can’t do anything.
