Ok, here goes constructive criticism. What is the site about and why am I reading it? Seriously! What are you telling me about who you are and what you are about?
I don’t like the black. It doesn’t fit your content an what you’re about (after I found it). Use a more gentle color! I have high speed cable and it took some time to load.
The navigation is horrible. Search engine do NOT read graphics – stick with the text rollovers.
You should chose a theme with rounded corners!
What’s up with the footer?
Find a different and more gentler theme and let me know. 🙂

The purpose of this forum is to show off wordpress customizations. We’re here to talk about unique design and functionality, not content. While the navigation may not be ideal from a search standpoint, it is a unique and original design.
There are some validation problems which I suspect is the reason that a few elements are out of position, but I generally like the fact that you’ve created something that doesn’t look live every other WP site out there.

Thanks Chrisber, I’m starting to re-inflate from my big ‘complainbucket’ deflation yesterday. lol. I appreciate the responses from both and will work on text rollovers for my nav today.
This is afterall, my first website and I’m still learning. I appreciate your compliments on “unique-ness”.
By the way, I LOVE the look of your site Chrisber, very fun!
The google ads totally mess up the layout. And my EYES, my POOR EYES!

One more thing, what are these ‘validation errors’ you are speaking of? I’ve seen this in quite a few replies and I don’t know how you are seeing these? What exactly are they and how do I see them?
Remember I said I’m new to this, so if it’s a stupid question, that’s why.

validator.w3.org. Give in your website and you will see what is not “valid”.

Thanks for the validator link. Wow, what a wonderful tool. I’ll be fixing those today.
And to Finkaboutit, what hurts your eyes? The black? Please elaborate so I can fix. (you sounded like Phoebe on ‘Friends’ with the ‘MY EYES’, how fuuny!)
Thanks to all and I appreciate it. I never realized how much time this website stuff takes. But it’s very theraputic.
Get rid off them blue Google ads, because they are messing with the layout. And they are baaad … very baaad.
