The teaser restriction doesn’t seem to work for me or I do something terribly wrong.

I follwed the instructions, set a default teaser message, checked limit for that post but when being not logged in and calling that post it still gets displayed.

Are there any settings I missed? Or Is the extension necessary to limit the post effectively even when using default teaser message?

    Sorry I did something wrong.

Just one little question, right now I have to set this inidvidually per post. Is there a way to limit a entire category adding a teaser message while just playing the excerpt?

    Hi 3T_MJ,

Thank you for your questions. Yes you can setup a teaser message for all posts withing any category, but for that purpose you would need to have AAM Plus Package extension. This way you can manage access to your category and define default access (by checking LIMIT option) to all posts that relate to it.

    Appreciate your interest in AAM.

Thx @vasyltech. Not sure if I overlooked it but is the Addon a onetime or yearly payment?

I installed the extension but I still can’t limit all category post, there’s no limit option availsable. it’s still only working for individual posts…

    Hi 3T_MJ,

    What extension did you install?

    Regards,

Both the plus and teaser extension. But the content teaser option limit is still only available for individual posts.

    Hi 3T_MJ,

Please go to Extensions tab and let me know what version of AAM Plus Package do you see right next to the extension’s name.

    Thank you,

    It’s AAM Plus Package v2.4.1.

That is the reason. You should update to v2.4.3. In order to do that, try to Install the AAM Plus Package again by inserting license key on the Extensions tab. This should download and reinstall the extension.

If no, please contact us via email vasyl@vasyltech.com.

    Thank you,

Thx, it’s working now. But how can I make sure extensions get updated automatically?
