• When I click on an image in the media library and try to add an existing taxonomy term to it, the search field has stopped finding existing terms, and is only allowing me to add a new one. When uploading a new image, I see a full list of existing terms that can be checked, but this is not the case when clicking on existing attachments. In an ideal world, this would be the case for both instances – to see the category checkboxes and a field to add new terms instead of a checkbox. This is a new issue – we’ve been using the plugin on our site for years. Is there something in the latest update that would cause this?

Thanks for the plugin and continued development.

    Hi @brad2dabone

According to our tests, there should be no change in the behaviour of the plugin. The Checkbox view is active, when you change the Medialibrary to Listview instead of the Gridview.

Could you please check if there is any output in the Developer Tools Console, when you try to search for an existing term?

    1. Open the attachment from the WordPress medialibrary to edit
    2. Right click on any part of the window and select inspect
    3. Try to search for an existing term
    4. Check the inspect window for errors in the Console tab, if there are any please post it to this thread
    5. If there are no errors in the Console tab, navigate to the Network tab and look for an entry like admin-ajax.php?action=f4-media-taxonomies-search-terms. Click on it and send us the output of the Response tab

    Best regards, F4
