Hi! Yesterday I noticed my blog was displaying errors and did a check, so discovered the update of Spectra blocks. I was using the “masonry post” (that is now semi-deprecated) and change it to the “posts grid”. Checked the new display and style options -delicious. I loved it.
But I see that in the Posts Grid / General / Meta / “show taxonomy” and position= “with metadata” it displays correctly in preview, but the site show taxonomy somewhere over the “read more” button.

Code shows that timestamp meta is inside div “post-grid-byline” but taxonomy meta is in its own “uagb-post__text” and this is making some css conflict.

I solved it adding some css patches and changing the display but it’s not so elegant and possibly becomes conflictive in new updates.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @luisdaniel,

    Thanks for writing to us.

I am not replicating this on my end as shown here:https://share.getcloudapp.com/rRuglqz6.

I request you debug as follows:

Please update to Spectra version 2.4.0. After updating, please be sure to regenerate the assets. We do this automatically after the plugin is updated, but just to be sure, go to “Spectra > Settings > Asset Generation > Regenerate Assets” and press the button.

Also, empty cache and hard reload while on the editor screen. Here’s how: https://share.bsf.io/2NumNvZ2.

    Hope this helps.
Please let me know how this goes.

    Hello! Thanks for answering.
I’m sorry I don’t specify the plugin version, it is already 2.4.0. Anyway, I regenerated assets and emptied caches. The result is the same.
I think the issue is because the <span class=”uagb-post__taxonomy”> is nested in a <div class=”uagb-post__text”> and its attributes {position: absolute; bottom: 20px;} put the entire <span> out of place…

    Hello @luisdaniel,

    Thanks for writing back.

I request you open a support ticket with us from here:https://wpspectra.com/support/, so that the dev team can help out even better.

    Have a good one!

    Hello @luisdaniel,

It’s been long since we heard from you. I am going to mark this as resolved.

Please feel free to open a new thread in case of any other queries.

    Regards.

    Judith.
