I am currently having trouble creating a taxonomy-{taxonomy}.php page.
I already have one set up for another taxonomy but when i try to create the page for the taxonomy i want “thema” it doesnt load the data from the taxonomy but it loads data from the first post asociated with the term.

So the_title(); returns the title of the first post and not the title of the current term.

So it works in on this term: https://www.velthuizenkeukens.nl/gerechten/ontbijt/
and it doesnt with this one: https://www.velthuizenkeukens.nl/themas/gebak/

I’m not aware of any functions in WP like the_title() that are meant to act on taxonomy terms. That’s a post function.

Are you able to share the code content of this template file? I could get a better idea of what may be going on that way.

Did you ever get this figured out @ddoelman ?
