  • Hey guys, Thanks to all in advance. I’m looking for some advice regarding making a costume category or taxonomy structure / hierarchy in woocommerce using ACF . I’l will try my best to explain so you guys won’t get confused like me haha.

for sake of simplicity I’m running a shop that sells car parts from several car manufacturers, I want to make a brand section that will contain the multiple brands in the shop. when a user clicks the specific brand he will enter a page with all the
sub-categories for this manufacturer (like: oil pumps, engines etc..) then he can view only the desired parts for this brand in a sub-category page. I know, sounds very complex, so I’v made a diagram to try to make it better.

    notes:
** I’v achived this kind of structer using only woocoomerce categories, but I’m duplicating myself a-lot
** I’v tried costume taxonomies, but It seems not nest the subcategories for some reason.

hope you guys could help finding a solution, If you understood haha.. Thanks in advance to all cheers 🙂
