Taxes STOPPED Working with 3.9.1

Have used WP eCommerce for 2+ yrs. on client website, working well. Canadian seller – have tax table set up by Province, everything worked exactly as expected.
Recently updated to 3.9.1 – continued working UNTIL today when some Variations were edited. For any product so affected, the s.cart no longer calculates the taxes. (Products with variations untouched continue to calculate correctly.)
