Taxes Not Kicking In

    Hello,

    I’m having an issue with getting my automated taxes to kick in on my WooCommmerce store. I fully set up automated taxes with Jetpack on the WooCommerce setup checklist. I checked “Enable Automated Taxes” in the settings of WooCommerce… Yet the tax never changes when I’m in the checkout section of my site. It always stays at zero.

    What am I missing here? These products ship from California and whenever I put in an address in a different state to ship it to, the taxes still don’t change. Is this a plugin issue or what?

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    Please note the plugin will only auto-calculate tax for when the shipping is made to the same state as the store base address.

    If you need to auto-calculate and collect taxes for different states, you might want to consider WooCommerce AvaTax or TaxJar.

    @solstudioim Hello. Thanks for the feedback – I’m still not having taxes change for shipping within CA as well. I went through your steps but can’t get anything to work. Any other suggestions?
