Taxes in Woocommerce Not Showing

I’m working on a site where the sales taxes in Woocommerce are not showing up at all at checkout or anywhere else. (Partner’s partner has login for Woothemes site and I can’t post questions there for now). All the settings seem to be correct, but I haven’t used WC before so I could be missing something.
Going to start troubleshooting it by seeing what class-wc-cart.php is doing (I guess) – seems to be at least one place where tax calculations are computed I think, but in the meantime, if someone has an idea of where to look or what to try, I’d appreciate it.
