# Tax reports issue

 * I have noticed when I am collecting my tax data for my accountant, that the tax
   reports display different values.
 * I have 2 tax values setup in woo and prices are setup to include tax.
 * When I use the tax reports to get my tax info for a specific period, the taxes
   by code total amount is different to the taxes by date total amount.
 * An example
 * period 01/07/15 to 31/07/15 – Tax by Code
 * 5% Tax = 10.88
    19% Tax = 856.75 Total = 867.63
 * period 01/07/15 to 31/07/15 – Tax by Date
 * Total = 863.67
 * I know the difference is only small, but Should these amounts not be the same?
   Which value is the correct value for tax?

 * Is it possible you’ve tweaked an item in an order without calculating totals 
   again?
 * Tax by code uses sum of item taxes.
    Tax by date uses sum of order taxes (which
   are a sum of item taxes).
 * See if you can narrow down the dates causing the discrepancy and find the problem
   order.
