On upgrading to v1.9.1 I have found that I am unable to initially click “All countries” until I add and save with one country in the tax rate.

Furthermore despite the changelog statement “Fix: Calculating taxes is always performed.” the EU tax group seems to still be applied regardless. Tested with UK base country, australia as shipping destination.

  • Thanks for info, we’re checking it out

    Hello!

We know tax panel is not perfect and it will be redesigned in 2.0 which is currently in development.

For the second issue – it was resolved (code is available on our GitHub as it is in testing phase). If you want to test if the issue is resolved in coming 1.9.2 version please download https://github.com/jigoshop/jigoshop/archive/master.zip and contents of jigoshop-master directory into /wp-content/plugins/jigoshop (replace 1.9.1 with 1.9.2). This is required for dependent plugins to work correctly.

You may also disable all Jigoshop related plugins (and Jigoshop itself at the end) and unpack contents of the archive to plugins directory (you will get second copy of Jigoshop with different version number). Then you can enable Jigoshop and the plugins.

Installing 1.9.2 appears to have resolved this issue, many thanks.

good to hear, thanks for your assistance in identification of issues.

Still having problems with the taxes. Got an error when entered an international address (we are US based). We have a tax rule for the US, but no where else. had an error that said missing argument for jigoshop_tax.class. replaced with 1.8.6 tax class and now orders seem to go through with international address.
When testing, i deleted the tax rule i had. Now trying to re set it up, i cannot just add 1 state to US tax rule (i.e. just california). upon pressing save, it adds all the states.
for now we are just not charging tax, but would like to get the tax working again.
    thank you

    Hi elitisdogg,
Thanks for notification – we’re checking your use case too fix it in 1.9.3

The issue exists and is fixed – 1.9.3 version should be released today.

Thank you for this bug report!

Sorry guys – a lot of stuff got fixed in the update. Glad to see you guys gave me a shout out. I was just testing through the tax stuff. below are the errors I get still.
I only have tax rule for california, it applies it to all states. if I change to an international address, it comes up with the below errors…
