Trying to enter tax rates on a per zip code or per city basis and the neither zip codes nor cities are being saved. Zip code or city keeps changing to an asterisk. Obviously, Woo Commerce is unusable if this is not resolved.

I have no caching plugins installed and I disabled every plugin except Woo and still have the problem. I’ve tried importing CSVs that have zip code content and the site refuses the save the zip code data. Got a serious problem here :/

I installed Woo on a separate site and tax rates works normally.

On the site with the problem I dropped all the tables and reinstalled WP. I enabled Woo and … it had the same problem.

I checked the db on the site that worked and saw the tax location data was saved in wp_woocommerce_tax_rate_locations. This table is missing on the problem install!

Trying to add the table (unsuccessful so far). Is there any way to get Woo to reinstall all the tables it needs?

Inspired by your posts, got a fix:

    Here’s how I solve this:

*Fresh install WP+Woocommerce in my PC

    *Export database

    *Fresh install WP+Woocommerce in server

    *Delete database

    *Import database from PC

*Edit wp_options database table to match current domain name

And now I have VAT being added to products.

    Enjoy…

I managed to get the table installed myself, just looked at the table & column settings from the working version and copied them.

    HI Echoleaf,

I’m having similar issues: when I insert a row in the tax settings window, make changes, and then click “Save Changes”, the row that I just entered disappears. Where did you look to find the table that you installed yourself? And might you have a sample column layout for it so I can see how to install my own table?

    Thanks in advance!
    John
