 * Hello!
    I live in Canada and have to collect Canadian taxes. However, I prefer
   to list my prices in USD because that’s where the majority of my customers come
   from.
 * However, if I charge USD prices, because the CAD dollar and the USD dollar are
   not equal, the taxes calculated by WooCommerce are going to be off. Is there
   some way, within Woocommerce, to have it so that customers are actually paying
   taxes only on CAD amounts and not USD amounts?
 * Thanks.

 * Hi [@mynameisme](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mynameisme/),
 * Normally, when you change your store currency in **WooCommerce → Settings → Currency
   options**, then customers will be charged in that currency (all charges, including
   taxes).
 * However, it seems that you’d want to display prices in USD but charge in CAD.
   In such a case, I would suggest the following plugin that converts prices for
   display purposes but charges will still be your defined WooCommerce currency –
   [https://woocommerce.com/products/currency-converter-widget/](https://woocommerce.com/products/currency-converter-widget/)
 * Just to add, if you’d want to allow customers to be charged in the currency they
   select, kindly check:
    *[Multi-Currency Switcher](https://woocommerce.com/products/multi-currency-switcher).*
   [Currency Switcher For WooCommerce](https://woocommerce.com/products/currency-switcher-for-woocommerce/)–
   has a setting to allow customer to pay in their chosen currency unchecked by
   default.
 * We’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about the above extensions if
   you reach us via [a presales ticket](https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/?form=ticket).
 * Hope this helps, we’ll be happy to be of further assistance.
    Many thanks.
