• Also, we noticed that the state sales tax is calculated per unit instead of on the total cost of items sold. If someone were to purchase 1 unit of $10 tea the tax is .83 cents. If someone purchases 2 units of $10 tea (or $20 total) the shopping cart calculates the tax as $1.66. However, the tax on $20 of tea should be $1.65 ($20.00 x 8.25% = $1.65). With it rounding up on every unit sold it adds .01 cents in tax when 2 units are sold, it adds .02 cents in tax if 4 units are sold. Can you make it where the tax is calculated on the total cost of the items sold and not per unit sold?

Simplified question: Can we apply the tax to the subtotal and as a separate line instead of per product?

This was posted in the community cartpress forum, but I can’t view it because support form has been under maintenance for awhile now.
