 * Your plug-in doesn’t have any tax options. A gift card doesn’t get taxed. Also
   when I apply the gift card code to an order, it removes taxes from the order 
   that is supposed to be taxed.

 * I’m having the same issue – have tried everything and it comes down to the fact
   that when I choose “gift card” in product data, all of the general options disappear.
   Gift cards aren’t taxed, so I can’t use this plugin to sell them until this is
   fixed.

 * Actually found a fix for this! If you go into “Products” choose the “Quick Edit”
   option next to the product post – the option to change tax status is able to 
   be changed there – I’ve just tested and seems to be working

 * Hi,
    at the moment we do not support taxes on gift card product, almost in our
   free version. Anyway, we plan to develop further this free version in the near
   future.

 * You can do it with this trick 😉
    go to your product list in admin panel edit
   it without entering in its page and change the tax:
