• Hi,

Is there a way to target child pages created by plugins for the asset management module?

This is with regards of plugins like buddypress.

For example, buddypress creates a link like this:
    domain.com/user-profile/user-name

I would like to only enable the buddypress plugin to domain.com/user-profile and any wildcard username that follows after the user-profile permalink.

In other words I want to disable plugins to this kind of url:
domain.com/user-profile/user-name/* >>>>> asterisk meaning wildcard characters that follows after.

I just found out that the only way to do this with clearfy is to go to the profile one by one and disable each plugins one by one on each profile which is not efficient and very time consuming.

If it’s not possible with the plugin, would you add this on future updates or probably willing to customize the plugin for this specific function for a small price?

I will be looking forward to your response.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Sorry delay for reply!
I was sent a lot of tickets, I do not have time to process them.

Unfortunately, at the moment this does not work.

I received requests from other users and similar problems, I should add this function to the plugin.

Expect it in the next plugin updates.

    Best regards, Alex

First and foremost, many thanks to Alex for an absolutely amazing plugin – imho earns a knighthood at least, or even sainthood 🙂

That said, I just lost some time debugging the asset manager (on 3 websites with different themes), so I must add my voice to that of @gelosick. The description of the feature states that I can stop e.g. contact form 7 assets loading except on the contact page, with just two clicks. Well, I was of course more than interested.

But when I call the assets manager from the admin topbar, it works only on the home page of the website, but not on all other pages, the call with “?wbcr_assets_manager=1” GET-Param tacked on just ends up refreshing the page. So I could disable the assets everywhere, but not enable them any more on the page needing them.

Very glad to hear that a fix of the feature is planned – good luck Alex!

    Cheers, Tim
