Can someone help me find what is putting this code into my “a href” image link in my Post? I installed an image pop-up display when you click on the image, but it opens into a new browser window instead. The plugin author said to get rid of the “target=_blank”.

I edited the quicktags.js file to comment out the code where it adds it, but it is still there. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks, jim

  • sorry, but without knowing what plugin your are talking about, and with no link, it’s hard to help you.

when i use the plain img quicktag in the editing screen, i don’t get the target=”_blank”… so i assume it’s something else you’re using?

Sorry for not closing this. It was a plugin called wp-blank-target that was installed with the Springer theme. I deactivated it and am fine.

So why are you *still* not closing it, if your issue is resolved?

    How do you do *that*?
