# Target specific Post Type only

 * We only want these comment fields to display in a specific custom post type. 
   Is there a snippet or line of code we can use so the plugin only targets that
   custom post type, and not the normal WP posts?

 * Thanks. So now you can have WP Comment Fields or not in a particular post type.
   That works for us thanks.
 * A suggestion for the next version if may 🙂
    Instead of having the post type 
   selected for the whole plugin, can it be done on a field by field basis. I can
   see quite a few uses for that in some sites I have been working at. Thanks again.

 * Oops, so now we have only asked for the extra field to be on a particular post
   type, but it is a required field, so the other comment forms are still telling
   us we did not fill in the fields, although the field don’t show on those forms…?
