# Taking older theme, making new?

 * So, after a few days of not realizing that the theme / template I would love 
   most to use is not compatible with the version I am using – I am left wondering
   if it would be hard to make the theme compatible with the new version without
   ruining the theme itself?
 * Here is said theme : [Theme](http://sodacoca.com/Burorama/)
 * Would anyone be willing to look it over, and possibly see if its still able to
   be used, and what all needs tweaked to get it to work?

 * Have you actually tried the theme yourself?
 * It’s claimed the theme is compatible with WordPress 3.1. So in most cases there
   should be no problems using it on the latest WP version.

 * As you can see compared to the demo of the theme, something isn’t working quite
   right. I had asked previously here on WP about it, and was informed that it could
   be due to it being compatible with an older version. Okay. So, I asked how to
   make it work with the new version.
 * I had wondered why an old theme wouldn’t work with a new version. I would think
   a new theme wouldn’t be compatible with an old version.
 * Anyway, as you can see, the slider on the top doesn’t work – and from my looking
   at the theme in the Admin Panel, I can not find where to fix this.
