Take the money and run
-
This plugin appeared to be the solution to my scheduling needs, on the surface it was very easy to set up for a simple business and when I had questions I received timely replies from the author.
Because of those good experiences, I put down the money to purchase the extension. That’s when everything changed.
I had another question about how to make the plugin work properly for my business – no answer from support. DAYS went by, I was on a deadline and couldn’t get things working. It got to the point where I had to put something in place and meet my deadline – so I found another solution and asked for a refund.
The day after I requested the refund, I did get a reply but it was a very tedious and complicated process I was going to have to go through in order to make the plugin do what needed to be done. The author of the plugin apologized for the delay in getting back to me and promised a refund within the day. That refund didn’t come.
I ended up having to file a dispute with PayPal – which then gave the author the opportunity to claim he couldn’t issue a refund because of the dispute. I called PayPal to discuss that assertion with PayPal and see what could be done. They assured me that he COULD refund the payment and they would send him instructions on how.
More time goes by – the claim gets closed out because he failed to respond to PayPal.
End result – nothing but frustration trying to get this guy to do the right thing. I would not trust him with your money, nor would I trust his plugin to actually do what you need. It looks ‘easy’ at first, but quickly becomes cumbersome and time consuming.
