  • Is it not easy for “hackers” to take over ones blog, when you know that password is stored in the “wp-config.php” file?

  • No…most all php applications have the database connection information stored in the config.php file.

If you have everything set-up properly there should be no way for anyone to see that information through their browser…they would need to hack into your site to get it…and if they were able to do that, then they really wouldn’t need it anyway 🙂

    Thanks for your answer…
