    I just ‘upgraded’ to 2.7 from a much older – pre-tag – version. I’ve added some tags to posts, and inserted the_tags into my template (see below) but it doesn’t show any tags. I also installed the WP-Cumulus plugin, and it shows tags, links correctly, etc. Why doesn’t the_tags show anything?

    <h2><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link: <?php the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2>
    <p class="post-date"><?php the_time('D j M Y'); ?></p>
    <div class="post-content">
    	<?php the_content(); ?>
    	<div class="post-info">
    		<?php wp_link_pages(); ?>
    	Posted by <?php the_author(); ?> under <?php the_category(' , '); ?> <?php edit_post_link('(edit this)'); ?><br />
            <?php the_tags(); ?><br />
            <?php comments_popup_link('No Comments', '1 Comment', '[%] Comments'); ?>&nbsp;
    	<div class="post-footer">&nbsp;</div>
