• Hi your plugin has really improved my workflow. Thanks.

I have noticed one issue relating to Markdown Extra.

<<<<If a definition is preceded by a blank line, Markdown Extra will wrap the definition in <p> tags in the HTML output. For example, this:

    Apple

: Pomaceous fruit of plants of the genus Malus in
    the family Rosaceae.
    >>>>

I can produce the desired result using your plugin by entering the above Markdown fragment, and updating my page.

However when your plugin rebuilds the markdown from the html is doesn’t regenerate the blank line. This means that the next page update will not generate the <p> tags, so bullet points will turn back to *’s etc.

    Can this be fixed?

    Apologies.

I now see that the behaviour that I described only happens if I begin the definition explanation with a bullet point.

If I just use a standard paragraph your plug_in works as expected.

I will just workaround by only using std paragraphs in definitions, which is probably all that I was supposed to do in the 1st place anyway.

If you are updating this post title to be “resolved”, could also please fix the title typo so that it refers to Definitions, not Abbreviations. .. thanks.
