Tags

Just a question question about (Tags) and wordpress. Google Bot comes and searches my website everyday, but I was just wondering, If everytime I post a topic, blog, article, etc.. and I add tags to each one, does that mean the google bot will pick up these tags as well? Or am I way off track here?
