Tagging pages in post?

OK, I seriously don’t get this plugin, I’m sorry if I’m missing something, but…

All I want to do is tag relevant pages in the post when “publishing an article”.
I’ve made the Facebook app, I’ve got the app, publishing, and tagging approved, please explain to me what I’m doing wrong, and why it has taken days of work to use what should be a simple plugin developed by Facebook?

As a side note, despite the approvals I’m still only “sharing a link” as opposed to “publishing an article”, isn’t that why i spent all that time uploading screenshots of the app you guys wrote?

Can anyone please help?
