    Is there any way for us to tag specific Slack users (e.g. @john) when the plugin sends a notification to Slack.

    For example, it would be helpful when a new blog post is scheduled that an editor be notified.

    Thanks

    Hi lsilver,
    You can write in the “Channel” field of the notification @dorzki for example, and the notification will be sent directly to the user as a private message on Slack.

    Is this a good solution for you?

    Thanks for the response. It’s not perfect since it’s still beneficial to put it in a channel. The Gravity Forms Slack add-on, for example, allows us to customize the message that’s transmitted. So we can tag people there. Something to consider. Appreciate it.

    @lsilver,
    I thought about adding message customization. For now you can customize them using hooks, but i will definitely add this feature on the upcoming release.

    It would be awesome if you could open an issue in plugin’s repo on github.

    How would we customize messages using hooks?
